Tandem Hang Gliding

Tandem Hang Gliding

Have you always dreamed of being able to soar like a bird and feel the rush of adreneline as you launch into the air? Now you can with a Tandem Discovery Flight with Fly Gravity Sports in Hope, British Columbia.  Our winch-tow tandem is a unique way to enjoy the freedom of flight. Hang gliders used to require running off the steep edge of a mountain to launch into the air but not anymore.  With a Winch-Tow Tandem you are pulled into the sky with our portable mountain - our winch. Using a 4000ft runway at the Hope Airpark you will climb to altitudes above 2000ft within 2 minutes and soar on the scenic mountain ridges that surround Hope Mountain. Once you arrive, one of our HPAC certified tandem Instructors will give you a pre-flight briefing on take off, other aspects of free flight and landing. Taking off is simple, easy and not terrifying as you might imagine. Be warned, however, that nothing compares to flying just like a bird and you may get hooked on this easy-to-learn sport!
